Campus culture varies among colleges and should be a significant factor in deciding which college to attend. Many students, however, find it hard to focus on something as intangible as “culture,” and think instead about whether a college is large or small, urban or rural. A small, rural college may actually have a lot in common with a large urban university when you dig a little deeper and look at the type of students on the campus. One thing to consider is whether students are engaged in political activism and whether this appeals to you.
